I concluded this adventure in a village called Seraya, located on the eastern coast of Bali. I had the privilege of volunteering with @yayasanseraya teaching English to the local children. They made me feel right at home, inviting me to Besakih Temple for ceremony and regularly hanging out with the locals on the coast for sunset. It was an incredibly peaceful way to end this journey.

This island was one of the very first places I put on my travel vision board when I was about 15 (s/o @indyblue_ ). When I got my first car, I had the windows down every chance I got, imagining myself on a motorbike driving along the coast of Bali. 10 years later, here I am bringing that teenage dream to fruition. I didn’t think I’d be doing it on my own at the time, but it makes younger me even more proud of myself for having done so. Chase those dreams and make them your reality! The pure love, admiration, and respect I have for this country and its people is something I can only wish for everyone to have the opportunity to experience. Just when you think your jaw couldn’t drop any lower in awe, you taste Michelin star Bún chả, gaze at the most intricate mountain ranges, drink the best coffee of your life, or meet a local that makes you cackle and welcomes you with open arms. What a hard goodbye but needless to say, I WILL be back 🇻🇳
