If you know me, you know that one of my favorite parts of traveling is finding great coffee (and great food ☕🥐). Spain definitely did not disappoint, so here are a few of my favorite coffee spots from this my short visit!

📍 Madrid

☕ Wolfox Specialty Coffee Roasters
A tiny gem tucked away in the alleys near Puerta del Sol. The coffee was so good, and the pastries were so delicious, that I completely forgot to take pictures. 😂 That’s usually the sign of a great café.

☕ Bucólico Café
Hands down, one of the best Eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. Pair that with an Intenso coffee, and I was in heaven. Beautiful atmosphere, amazing food, and coffee that I’ll still be thinking about for a while.

📍 Granada

☕ Sir Coffee Corner
This little coffee spot is mostly grab-and-go and small park area outside where people can sit and enjoy the moment. The owners were incredibly warm and welcoming, and the cortado was perfectly roasty, smooth, and rich. The avocado toast—with grated tomato under the avocado in true Spanish style—was simple, fresh, and absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be recreating it at home!

☕ La Finca Coffee
A beautiful café that’s perfect for slowing down and catching up with friends. Delicious coffee, amazing pastries, and a space that makes you want to stay just a little longer.

⭐ Every one of these coffee shops earned 5 stars from me. If you’re planning a trip to Madrid or Granada, add them to your list!

Dragged a friend @anjaliz74 to España to tag along for a work trip. A few days en Madrid before Education Conference in Salamanca. Found some lovely coffee and breakfast Cafe Bucolico. If you’ve never added pistachios to your eggs… it’s not a bad option. Found a dear friend @jandyb00 and her brother @josebarajas1 in Madrid and rooftop Kalimochos added to a great reunion. taken in Madrid,Spain by @jkatzeit

What we saw before siesta
Day 2 in Madrid 🇪🇸
📍Parque del Retiro
📍Museo Nacional del Prado
Phones were strictly prohibited in the Museum, it was massive -touring for 3 hrs and we didn’t even see half!
Noteworthy : Velázquez, Goya, Bosch and the only certified copy of the Mona Lisa, painted at the same time as the original by da Vinci’s pupil.
