Not every day is full of glamour - there’s tons of extremely diligent work put in almost each day to be doing this. There’s beauty in the mundane but there’s also a lot of planning and chaos. I seriously wouldn’t have it any other way and I know I’m a lucky girl to live this life. My partner also supports me heavily so I can be doing this instead of being miserable at my corporate job so cheers to him! You caught me on a really good day! Most days have a bit more chaos and sewing but decided I wanted to prioritize cooking.. the lively part of being your own boss is deciding the workload you can or can’t take on that day. I feel like I’m finally in my flow state and it feels so good! It took a long time to get here. by @jkearnsss

Just a little biscuit head - there’s so much of her in my work. Just a little horse girl who loved canned biscuits and clouds. Always dreamt of being in fashion, never let anyone dress me. My first pair of shoes were red patent leather from the local Payless and I refused to go with anything else. Independent & confident she was. The name of my small business was totally spontaneous - a slang I picked up along the way became my mantra and now makes more sense than ever - it’s actually an Irish phrase and I’m 74% Irish. Sunday morning feels. I’ve had some pretty wild experiences lately that I’d like to share - I spent 4 days sourcing at an estate sale by a designer and accrued some insanely stunning textiles including silk, linen, and cotton. I was also able to get my hands on my first ever industrial sewing machine, a Juki. At 6am I drove to the estate to put my moms name on the list because I was attending a pop up event and she went in my absence, on that last day the items are 50% off and my mom and I knew we had to get our hands on the Juki that we had been studying for days. She was first on the list and called me to tell me it was ours! Sadly in transit, the Juki fell over and we’re not sure yet what the damages look like but regardless this was a passionate mission for us and we are in hopes that it’s ok! Over the next few months I will be setting up my office & showing you some very fun and exciting BRIDAL content very soon. If you made it this far, thank you for reading and following along. First Drop on my Website is live on Friday at 1 o’clock PM PST. Somehow my best friends are all models so it was so easy to play dress up with them and it literally feels like a dream coming to fruition. I hope my pieces speak to you 🕊️love ya lil biscuits xx by @jkearnsss
