Deeply grateful to @basssiani for inviting me to be part of this 12 year celebration and for welcoming me back to Tbilisi. The club remains a powerful space for connection, joy, resistance, and collective possibility. Honored to share music and celebrate alongside everyone who has helped carry this spirit forward! 💙✨ taken in BASSIANI by @jkendig

Good Work returns this Saturday for our last party of the summer with Fergus Jones and Jason Kendig of Honey Soundsystem!

Fergus Jones is a Scottish producer and DJ based in Copenhagen who runs the event series and label FELT, whose releases are regularly stocked on our shelves. He’s curated a string of excellent records on FELT across various genres these past few years while also releasing an acclaimed debut ‘Ephemera’ under his own name on Numbers in 2024. He kindly visited the shop in July 2025 and graced us with a 3+ hour mix that you can go listen to on @mood_hut ‘s Libra Mix website (LM135).

Jason Kendig is a member of the much-beloved queer nightlife institution and DJ collective Honey Soundsystem. Starting with his residency at the infamous Detroit club Motor in the late 90s, he went on to become a resident at Chicago’s Smart Bar and a key figure of the scene in San Francisco. Having played in various contexts over the past several decades, he’s known for having impressive range and a distinct ability to keep dancefloors captivated for the duration of what can only be described as marathon sets. We’re hoping he’ll have time to really stretch out as he closes the summer for us this year.

The weather is looking right, let’s hope it stays that way and we can complete the hat trick of being blessed with perfect conditions for every party this year. See you on Saturday :) by @jkendig

Back at @basementnewyork this weekend with the distinct pleasure of playing B2B with my dear friend @james_axon_!
We'll be closing out Studio and I know four hours won't be nearly enough time to play all the tracks we've been selecting for this one but join us until the end and see which ones made the cut... 😉💙✨ taken in BASEMENT NY by @jkendig

Originally inspired by the music electrifying Detroit’s airwaves, @jkendig has been collecting and mixing a broad range of dance music for well over two decades. From his first residency at Detroit’s infamous club Motor in the late ’90s he went on to become an integral member of San Francisco’s Honey Soundsystem and a resident at Smart Bar in Chicago. Kendig’s touring schedule has brought him to dance floors around the globe where he never fails to make others move through his ability to reference dance music’s past while keeping an ear tuned to the sounds of the future.

Jason’s been a favorite of ours for some time, and we’re proud to say that his playing our June 2019 party is what tipped him off to the magic of Buffalo, where he now calls home. We feel incredibly lucky to have him playing for us as frequently as he does as a resident.

Arrive early on Saturday for Buddy Buddy Pride! Jason opens the floor. taken in duende at Silo City by @jkendig
