Last week was the 15th (!!) anniversary of the Younger Lovers concert I organized at the New Museum it was one of the three best things that I did there, the band was perfect - Bronny with Osa from New Bloods and Crystal from Partyline. This was also the first time Brontez and I worked together! More recently he let me put out this 7” collaboration with Jason Kendig. I just reprinted the poster insert with an updated address, it looks so good in this burgundy/blue style. Thank you @rathaus.press! I love this record! Honestly I didn’t plan on doing a label, I just wanted the David Wojnarowicz / Ben Neill LP to exist and then I would stop but I love these songs so much I changed my mind about the whole thing. Last two images are stills from the sadly-lost music video for “He Never Knew What Kissed Him”

Purrrspective has created an abstract persona not only with her geometric and iconic whig, but with original and mesmerizing outfits which through her artistic performances challenge our understanding of club culture and how today’s society is defined. A social media powerhouse, they represent what a modern-day drag artist is, not imitating, but creating performance art.
Behind the scenes, Purrrspective’s multi-faceted personality is built upon and represents unique quirks that are a creation unlike any other, one being she owns a vast collection of TY Beanie Babies, holding onto the hope that they'll become a valuable investment one day. The true investment she has begun to make in our scene is expanding what it means to be a club personality, which inevitably will inspire a future of artistic expression
through fashion and a reimagination of oneself, incorporating a new pop culture sensibility reflecting an irreverent vision not unlike the days of the club kid culture of New York, inspiringly original ideas and
incorporating her own experiences.

Join us as we celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Geared for Life and remembrance of its first event in 1994 called "GEAR Party" that was renamed "Motorball" in 2000. This year's main headliners are DJ Tylr_ & Jason Kendig of Honey Soundsystem in Olympus Theatre and Darryl G, Ladylike, and Garrison XR in The Eagle.
