This riding season was sadly cut short for me twice this year. After a miraculous recovery from a broken c4 in my neck early March during an enduro, I rehabbed to get back on the big bike and spend the summer enjoying ADVs. Unfortunately while prerunning the Michaux Dual Sport I was riding a bit too conservatively and failed to make it up a steep loose hill. My t7 came down and crushed my previously repaired tib/fib and broke my collar bone. I’ve spent 8 days in 2 hospitals to get this rod installed and hopefully will be mobile again in a few weeks. Leading up to the injury I was having a top 5 motorcycle day with @lizismoto and @danielgivens I’ll do some healing and see what this fall brings. by @jkiniery

Greenbriar Enduro 2026 - 61 endless miles of single track and the longest 5 hour sprint I’ve ever had on a bike. Dropped a triple digit score, looped my bike trying to create a new line on a dragon back, got behind @lizismoto who was kind of enough to synchronize crash in the mud with me. What a day. Can’t wait to BS with my friends at a reset sometime soon. by @jkiniery

150 miles over two days twisting and turning through the tight trees. Perfect dirt, perfect temperature. Bright sunshine. Went as fast as I could with @jkiniery chasing the whole way. From a cliff walk in the pouring rain with a surprise friend who just happened to be in Ireland the same time we were, to climbing up to the top of Blarney Castle to dangle backwards and reach for a kiss, to a neighbor’s dog that made itself at home with us at our farmstead airbnb, to Phoebe absolutely digging her Uncle Jeff (and the visiting dog), to quiet and sacred roadside ruins without a speck of vandalism all to ourselves, to the most unseasonably rain-free and sunny week, to evening hangouts with the family in the garden of the most beautiful hotel until the sun went down at 11pm, Ireland with the Kiniery fam was a success. Got my face on my Guinness 0.0 and everything. by @jkiniery
