ECEA rd12 Michaux Enduro - pre ride hands with some old and new friends. I had a plan for a tricky time keeper, stay on time and go all out when I couldn’t keep the speed average. This enduro is both physically and mentally challenging. I could not keep the bike off the ground. Some technical rock section, rocky two track and single track with some rocky fast trail. After picking my bike up nearly a dozen times, landed one step off the podium. Worn out and beat up from the rocks but looking forward to a Restart at Moonshine next week. #brappinwithmybuddies #eceaenduro

This was the third year I got to help out with the @overandoutmoto dual sport rides sponsored by @revit_northamerica . We’ve fully worked getting ice cream into the day and the route put together by @lizismoto and @jkiniery never gets old. The best part though is that I get to ride with a bunch of different women who, no matter their background or their skill, whether they’ve been riding decades or months - I want to be their friend. They are all special and I love this thing we do that can unite such an otherwise disparate group. #dirtbikes #womenwhoridedirtbikes #dualsport

@lizismoto x @babesrideout collaboration. Slammed some peaceful miles. Chased waterfalls and sunsets. Yelled at a bald eagle. Rode the right bikes on the right trails. Would do again. 06/05-06/06.

Bruuuuuutttaaaallll start to the ECEA season. Greenbrier this year was essentially two harescrambles back-to-back. 61 miles in 4.5 hours - no resets at all, and, at my speed, just one 6-minute gas stop break at mile 32. A huge test of endurance. Trails were very good - a little slick but overall good condition, a nice mix of sweeping sandy sections, tight twisty trails, and roller-coaster crests and dips. My one bummer was getting stuck in a mud bog in the 18mph section after gas - cost me 2 minutes to drag my bike free, and then that 2 minute error compounded over the next 26 miles and 4 checkpoints. But my goal was not to bonk energy-wise, and I did not bonk! Though it did mean I had to stop once on the side of the trail in an active race section to cram some energy chews in my helmeted face, and I ate a goo with my clutch hand while riding the one 2 mile road transfer near the end. Feeling proud of managing my energy well enough to take home a trophy in a stacked class!! Feeling proud of this one! Out of 500 riders, only 270 even finished! A handful of the @delval.trail.riders crew made the trip down to race the @anecracing Round One Sumter National Enduro. The course layout this year was both beautiful and challenging especially for the later rows which were net positive in exposed roots and whoops. Overall was a great weekend to be in the dirt!

Escaped to the desert for a few days for my 39th with @jkiniery. The sunshine was the best birthday present. Hiked Valley of Fire, mountain biked in Red Rock Canyon, saw the Wizard of Oz at the Sphere, and ate most meals at PublicUs (but also dabbled in the delightful conveyor-belt sushi). It was a good mix of LV chaos and desert nature. Avoided the slots unless they were slot canyons. Spotted bighorns and burros but people-watched with the best of them. Happy that this dose of sunshine will carry me through the rest of this cold and snowy winter.

2025. I had something to prove after a year away and she reallyyyyy proved something. Things rarely went as planned. My brain always pushed for more and she begged to be in control. LOL. Thankfully I realized (some of the time) that none of it matters and everything is perfect, even when it sucks. What a beautiful year with my chosen family. Is this really about dirt bikes? Ah well, P2 for the ladies.
