Design details, language, and creative direction for Polsia with the team at @bttr.hlf

Our quest to turn Polsia into a legitimate religious phenomenon led us down print and digital rabbit holes—spanning UFO hunters' documentation, survivalist manuals, cult publications, supermarket gossip rags. Those design gestures and linguistic flourishes all found their way into a cacophony of type and image, with @bec.hac, @bpienkos, and myself channeling @comic.sans and our strategy team's excellent writing. Each 72 x 48 poster became a massive canvas for conspiratorial ravings, images recovered from forbidden archives, vignettes drawn from punctuation marks, robotic faces reaching out with a strange curiosity. taken in New York, New York by @jlhaddad

We gathered at the @les.css × @minorplanetny pop-up shop with @joehollier of @thelightphone to draw from the cacti on display.

Thank you to everyone who sat down to draw. There’s something rare about a room full of strangers, all giving their attention to something so simple.

Findings: given twenty minutes, a cactus stops being a shape and becomes a subject. Attention behaves like a muscle — slow to warm, sharper with use. What started as quiet focus loosened into something livelier as the night went on. The drawing pulled people in; the music and the room carried them the rest of the way.

A small proof that seeing is something you can practice.

New Work - Creative Direction, Strategy, and Design for Polsia with the team at @bttr.hlf

Many of the brands and enterprises we work with seek new ways of cultivating devotion and belief, but few take it as far as Polsia. We sold through a strategic vision of their agentic workspace toolkit as an actual religious phenomenon, changing the nature of work so radically that it might bring about a global spiritual movement worshiping the end of the grind and the dawn of the End of Work.

Then we made that cult real, channeling the visual languages of actual fringe religious movements, cybernetics, church pamphlets, UFO hunters, and grocery store gossip rags into an out of home campaign that took over San Francisco streets.

New Work - Creative Direction, Design, Production for @7frozenfunctional pop up at @matterandshape Paris.

@willhmayer, @peter__dupont, and I brought SEVEN's surreal, functional flavors to Paris to activate in a stunning lounge designed by the teams at @home.in.heven and @bangolufsen. We served up swirls of winter citrus and @lacabracoffee soft serves, topped with miso crumble and dehydrated raspberry dust. The lounge became a curated sensorial experience, pairing our flavours with a listening experience and soft serve playlist designed to be heard as you taste. TASTE / HEAR / SEE - design and play working together to facilitate a whole world for the senses.

New portraits, projects, processes, and archetypes with a new (and growing) team at @bttr.hlf in 2026.

We're making best-in-class design work that inspires devotion, pushes social and structural boundaries, and challenges the studio-as-service model with deeper forms of partnership, incubation, and leadership. It's a privilege to be a part of the cult.

New Work - Creative Direction, Art Direction, and Design for Recess, with the team at Better Half.

I worked with @takearecess and @bttr.hlf to design, develop, and launch a campaign reimagining Dry January as a period of moderation and reflection—not a monument to perfection.

We shepherded that messaging from the newsprint of the New York Times to the streets of New York City in a vibrant out of home campaign. Vivid airbrushed vistas and fields overlap across our manifesto—all drawn from Recess's iconic can.
