my camera roll is filled with photos of receipts for tax purposes, and photos of my cat. i feel myself aging and even though im happy and im still young, it’s hard not to feel a sense of doom about how fast time slips away. I get really intense pangs of nostalgia lately, i got nostalgic thinking back to the start of counter, which feels like it was 5 minutes ago and it scared me. now there are whole parts of my life i can’t really remember. on the brighter side, there are some leaves appearing on the trees and reminding me that northwestern europe isn’t always committed to its wet grey blanket. im also eating really well and disproving some concerning myths about soy consumption. the internet seems to generally be becoming a more cynical and sinister place, likely by design for some nefarious purpose - but it just makes me feel more grateful to be surrounded by such a vibrant reality, so im sorry for posting way less often but for now my camera is happy with receipts and my cat. by @jmesharp

no pithy concise caption today, just some reflecting on the past few months, which have been filled with pure joy and fulfilment. so many new friends that i immediately question how I ever managed without, a new rhythm that has let me look after myself physically and mentally amongst all the intensity and fun, and at the heart of it all this special space that we’ve built, a space through which ive witnessed everything from the beginning of new love to final moments in a relationship. ive facilitated happy bellies and unhappy mornings after. it’s been this incredible window into the cosy moments of so many stranger’s lives, strangers that end up becoming a little piece of the walls. there’s so much to see from behind the counter. it’s been so good and it really feels like it’s just beginning. what a joyride. i don’t take enough photos but all you lovely people who have been a part of this journey know who you are taken in Amsterdam, Netherlands by @jmesharp

overwhelmed with the love so far, we can’t wait to open and share our space with everyone. we thought we’d put some faces to names for anyone who doesn’t know.
