Episode 6 is out now!

On this episode of Lullabies & Liberation, we’re having an honest conversation about insurance inequity and access to care. From navigating Medicaid and private insurance to finding culturally competent providers, we explore the barriers Black birthing people face and the tools that can help families get the care they desire.

We also dig into mental health, stress, community resources, and the importance of feeling empowered when making decisions about your body and your care.

Tune in and share with someone who needs this conversation. 🤎

The second installment of Lullabies & Liberation: Empowering the Black Experience in Healthcare is here!

In our fourth episode, we’re diving into the deep roots of generational trauma and how it shapes the reproductive and maternal health journey for families. From inherited stress to implicit bias in birth settings, we unpack how history, racism, and lived experience impact pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

With birthworkers, clinicians, and community leaders, we explore what it means to break cycles, reclaim bodily autonomy, and build care teams that truly honor and protect Black birthing people.

Listen in, share with your village, and join us in creating a future where healing is collective and every birthing person is seen, heard, and supported. 🤎
