For the last six months, a few of us at JTN Music have been pouring our hearts and hard work into post production, on Music Supervision and Music Editorial, on the Feature Film “An Ode to Mary Jo”. 🎬🎥🎼

It’s been an absolute joy to work on this lovely, important, poignant, music heavy indie feature film, written and directed by Justin Liberman. It holds a star studded cast, between Ed Helms, Rhiannon Giddens, Steve Earle and many more. With so many amazing sync placements and musical contributions, if I do say so myself 💁🏽‍♀️

We’re all very excited and hopeful for where this project will go. We at JTN Music, the production team, cast and crew, and everyone involved, are all very excited to get Mary Jo’s story into the world. As it’s been a next level, collaborative process.

Working alongside Director Justin, and all the amazing producers has been wonderful. Special shout outs to Reuben, Mike, Matt, and Brenton. As well as all the amazing musicians who’ve collaborated in the process. Including my dear friend of over 20 years over there in Nashville, @chadjeffers who laid down some dobro tracks for the film 🤩 this was extra* special for me.

One of the best parts for me personally, was working alongside Pulitzer Prize winning composer @_michaelabels, he is a delight, and his score is absolutely beautiful (as per usual).

It’s been an honour for us at JTN, working with all these beautiful people. 🫶🏼 Filmmaking truly takes a village.

In January of 2016, on the night Kat and I got engaged, we went to see @hurrayfortheriffraff at Carnegie Hall. Our wedding anniversary is on June 12 and to celebrate our 9th year of marriage we went to go see Hurray at @greenriverfest. A stranger standing behind us took this photo. For the last five weeks I’ve been fulfilling a life long dream of directing a feature film.

Production just wrapped, post has begun, and the memories of those smallest magic moments from set are locking into place so I’ll never forget them.

I’m grateful beyond words and thrilled to share more with all of you soon.

Having this project be recognized by the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences and winning an Emmy Award is deeply meaningful because it was made with a lot of love, respect, and passion for the what the Celtics have meant to our New England community.
