Thinking back over the summer and these few sweet days in particular spent with these church planting women. Our annual @orchardgroup Women’s Retreat is like one big exhale — from the time given to reflect and relax in God’s presence, to the laughter that comes from being with people who understand the things you hope for and carry. Summertime Chicago is pretty spectacular too. Lots of people will have lots to say about last night, so I won’t add much here. Just that it somehow managed to be the worst night and best night all at once. The first pic was taken before we knew what we were in for — 3.5 hrs of waiting in a packed crowd to get inside. But at 12:15 am, Jay put his foot on the gas and never let up. The lineup, the visuals, the artistry, the fireworks made the whole thing feel like a movie.

I couldn’t help but think about how enamored people are to see stage actors recite long Shakespearean monologues. And Yankee Stadium was filled with thousands spitting out rhyme, rhythm, and nostalgia.

Topped off the whole thing with a walk across the bridge and 3:45 am Citibike ride to get home 😂

PUPPY THERAPY.

In all of the Knicks excitement, I didn’t get a chance to post about our family dog’s puppies! (As a refresher, my bro & sis have a dog, which I call the family dog, so that my kids don’t try to get a dog that lives with us 😂).

Anyways, 10 puppies is mayhem and cuteness overload! Kudos to @jrice914 and @jasminerice1! by @jmojacks

A sunny Friday in the city, and we taco crawled from Chelsea > SoHo > LES (with a pit stop to pick up the sourdough cinnamon roll that’s viral on the innanets).

10/10 recommend.
