You’re So Brave!

In my head, I can hear my dear friend @jessaconnolly saying this to me (because she’s the biggest champion of courageous girls). It’s been a full, scary week. I released a podcast on persevering in the Word of God, joined a friend’s podcast to talk about soul-care, and obediently started some tough conversations I’d been overthinking.

Frankly, it’s felt like waiting in line for a roller coaster. You watch others get on and go. You hear screams of fright AND fun. You internally debate whether you should participate. Is the ride worth it? You take another scared step forward. And then it’s your turn. 🎢

Secure a seat. Lock the lap bar. Await the ascent. Here we are!

What if slowing down with Jesus is the very thing you’ve been missing? 🤎

Soul care can feel terrifying when you’re used to doing, serving, and figuring out what’s next. But sometimes, Jesus invites us to stop striving long enough to receive the love He’s been offering us all along.

You don’t have to earn His love. But you might discover a deeper understanding of it when you make space to sit with Him.

6 DECADES! Happy birthday to the man who said yes to Jesus, yes to our crazy life, yes to generosity, and yes to God getting all the glory.

He is the REAL DEAL! Behind a camera or behind a computer. Rocking a baby or walking a dog. Taking a road trip or flying internationally. He is the most genuine, gentle, and (dare I say again) GENEROUS human I know.

@mrmichaelnobles You’re story is my fave. Beyond grateful to be a part of it and glad you were born!

The Unraveling - A marriage chapter

A tapestry that God was weaving in a variety of colors and hues. Even though we could not see the sweep of the canvas, we felt connection to the bigger story.
