When I realize some of my favorite things are singing outside on stage, the autumn season, John Coltrane who if he were alive would have been 100 today, and being able to cover songs like this amazing Rogers & Hammerstein tune with @jamesprestonmusic on keys, @lupadmore5 on drums, and @zuhri4075 on guitar which i love so much because of Julie Andrews but…; at that, it was a song John Coltrane also played and the 17 minutes of playtime that he made it always makes me smile, as does the art of singing, as does the fall season. All love! 😊

“Ain’t Nobody” love a Latin groove more than me because I hear the wonderful rhythms and instantly want to move my hips; especially when @simonmartinezdrum @mikeboonebass and crew are making the music feel good.

You might be sorta like me and if you love Latin grooves too, I’ll be singing with the Simon Martinez collective at @blacksquirrelclub next Friday night, September 25, 2026 at 7pm, so come check us out and you might here dope ass grooves like this forever lovable tune by @chakakhan that simply never grows old for me. See you there @comoandres #latina #music #cover #idonotowntherightstothismusic #lovesong by @jnotemusic

A mic check sometimes gives you literally only a few seconds to check the mic to see if it’s working and if you can really hear yourself; maybe that means instead of saying, “mic check,” sing something and make sure the levels are good enough to hit the ears, the heart, and to make your body move for the rest of the night cosmically. Uh huh; like a vibe check. #singersbelike #miccheck #covers #livemusic #idonotowntherightstothissong by @jnotemusic
