Honoured to be exhibiting in the ‘Land & Sea’ exhibition at Bowhouse @bowhousefife, which provided the perfect setting for such a diverse and exciting collection of works.

Great fun to be there for the opening and along with other artists, give a talk about my work and to celebrate 200 years of cameraless photography

‘The exhibition brings together seventeen contemporary artists whose work is shaped by landscape, coastline and the elements. Some use the camera to observe particular places, plants and habitats. Others work directly with sunlight, water, weather and natural materials, allowing the environment to become part of the photographic process itself’

Honoured to be a part of this exhibition, marking the 200th anniversary of photography

Bringing together nine contemporary artists from across Europe and the Middle East, the exhibition celebrates the enduring practice of cameraless photography. Through photograms, cyanotypes, prints, direct impressions, and experimental light-based processes, the artists reveal photography as a medium shaped by light, chemistry, time, and material.

Thanks to @alexanderfremihamilton for inviting me to be a part of this. I will be exhibiting my ongoing series of Gorgonian Cyanotypes alongside this stellar line up of artists.

So incredibly proud of my mother @susandepear for having her little frog lino cut accepted for this year’s @royalacademyarts Summer Exhibition!
It was her very first time applying, so well worth the wait!! Thank you to the selection committee for making the whole family hop with joy! 🐸 🥂
