Wishing a healthy and meaningful race tomorrow to Team Abbott and all Chicago Marathon runners.

The stories I’ve heard this weekend have been a reminder of what has inspired me for four decades of running in and cheering on the BOACM.

Keep those stories close, hydrate, triple-knot your shoe laces and celebrate all it took to get here tomorrow. Run your own race and run it to its fullest. Whether you know it or not, you’ll be taking thousands of others along with you. by @joanbenoitsamuelson

One of my favorite weekends of the year is here. So excited to be back in Chicago to cheer on all of the #AbbottChicago5K and @chimarathon runners.

No fib — tomorrow’s Team Abbott bibaway is about to become my new favorite BOACM race weekend event. Kick off the festivities with me and other runners reaching for the STARS. Register at the link in my bio.

May the 💨 wind 💨 in this city be behind you. by @joanbenoitsamuelson

Inca gold! Couldn’t resist this one after leaving Machu Picchu. I guess my IG holiday is over but not my time in South America. Now in Santiago for the NIKE women’s races. 7K or 21K? There is No Finish Line. Yet, anyway.🌞 by @joanbenoitsamuelson

Why give more Bank of America Chicago Marathon tips when I could just see you on course?

40 years after my win in Chicago, I’m joining Team Abbott to chase down good health, community and new goals on Sunday.

I’ll see you there, @chimarathon -ers! by @joanbenoitsamuelson

It makes me so happy to see the next generation of girls running their hearts out at the @lacoliseum 41 years after I ran my heart out. Girls, keep chasing your dreams as you log your miles. @nikela #victoryrelay by @joanbenoitsamuelson

So honored and inspired to share a moment in sport when millions of women will now strive to follow in Faith’s footsteps to do what speaks to them with heart, passion and true grit. Live your dreams and dare to be Faith! #breaking4
