🕷️👦🏻 brand new day spoiler ahead 🎬⚠️ a bit of a different style video today, it’s been something I’ve been wanting to share on my page. — Grief comes in many waves. One day you’re fine, and the next day you’re hit out of nowhere with that reminder of what you’ve lost. If you’re new here hi, I’m Joanne. My father passed when I was 13, and I process grief so differently now than I did when I was in middle school. Rather than grieving a past version of my father, I find myself thinking about the future instead. He wasn’t there at my graduation, and he won’t be at my wedding or the other milestones in my life. However I just know he’s there in spirit. I don’t know how to explain it but when I first started solo traveling, I went to Europe and I felt this presence around me of protection. My father was a big reason for why I wanted to start traveling because I want to go to places that he’s never been.
