This is from last week. I think Monday April 27th.

It's been awhile since I posted. I had a season ending injury last year and my father passed at the same time. Last years have been grim to say the least.

8 months of physical therapy on my leg and still working on my head but after the last 3 years I am grateful to say I still get to do this.

Magic moment with Ptor while window shopping for this one. We didn't film so no edit but an amazing memory for life.

Thanks @tinamoranval for getting this from the bin on your phone. Thanks Mateo and crew for the commentary.

Today was even better. I am so happy to see that the first issues of the bike magazines are hitting the shelves. That can only mean one thing. Ski season is just beginning.

#Deep was the word of the day.
Another day off with @benjaminribeyre

Slow start with an extra coffee on top before the unwritten plan came to fruition.

We stayed high for the day. It was good to see winter is back in town again. 😊

I never had formal social media training and no coach so I had to improvise on this post.

IG has all these ridiculous features to choose from. I guess the kids love it and eat that shit up. But after all these years you still can't post multiple photos mixed with portrait and landscape. Maybe there is a way but I don't have that level of training. My ghetto solution was to screenshot every photo so they would all be the same. I know I'm a total amateur.

Opened 1 ,2, 0, then ate a petit frite Francaise and had another coffee. Then the sky magically broke open for a P, back up again, 1 more coffee followed by a cruiser home. Legs are toast, literally caught the last DL of the day with the lifties at P1. Long day.

2 and 3 one of the most intimidating and awesomest place to be in LG

4 that was the only photo of Benji on the face where I could see him, he was behind a smoke screen the whole way. The faceshots were starting to hurt.

5 and 6 exciting exit, I got buck rogered but held on as I blasted into the schrunds down hill innie and open lip. Went from extreme back seat to over the bars trying to recover from having my ski tips in front of my face and almost over my head in the air, then over correcting and front seat into waist deep. I managed to hold on and I have no idea how.

7 is Benji with holes to the left ,right, back and front. It's good to be stuck in the middle. Look closely and you can see the eyeballs. Crazy bridge in super mario land.

8 I will miss these @dynastarskis 106 legends. 4 great years on these beauties while riding around under the Queen. They were my rock boards but today they met their match and I killed them. I was hoping for one more season on them as I don't have another ski that covers this range. I used them almost everywhere. Hopefully I can find another ski that can fill the 106 everyday range. 😢 RIP and thank you for all the memories. taken in La Meije by @joe_vallone

INSTAGRAM FAIL!

I apologize to all of you and I hope I didn't ruin anyone's day.

I know what you are thinking. Yesterday was the opener and you can't believe I didn't post.

I got so caught up and distracted in everybody's opening day post's I forgot to make my own.

I have to admit I am dropping the Gram ball a bit.

So what happened on the greatest ski lift in the world?

It was surreal and it felt like a dream. Its been close to two years since the lift was open for skiing "To The Public"

Last year the lift didn't open on the opener or ever for that matter so I had to pinch myself when we actually loaded the cabin with skis.

I feel terrible for not getting this post out yesterday. I know, it is in poor instagram form to miss a ski lift opening post. It kills me that I made you all wait one day. #fomo is real on the gram.

Good times with old and new friends. So nice to catch up with @maxx_palm and @sabuezo_sueco. Blown away at how well Max is riding after watching him grow up here. The future looks bright.

The highlight was finishing the opening day to the road with jean Louis and Ben Couzy in classic LaGraving style. Ben even found a barrel.

The second to last photo was the day before yesterday's opener. Its a good morning photo. I did a Solo all night mission under the full moon. I was just getting home from a birthday party when I started. 1800 meter skin with some help from Colorado candy, some birthday rum, beer and wine. Cowboy Commission, lone wolf style.

It didn't suck and according to Ptor's rules which I highly agree with, This would qualify as my first trifide. Rules are rules. If you take the lift it didn't count.

Then there was today, the day after yesterday. I think you get the point. Last clip is Barney and I cruising home on the last run. . Good snow out there but its still early.

long time since I've posted. A souvenir from the strange times we are living in. This was a confinement video I made in April during lockdown. We were not allowed to rock climb and could only go out for 1 hour a day within 1 km of the house. we alsoneeded to have a paper with us to say why we were outside. Needless to say, I went climbing anyway.
