POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

So I’ve been kinda cranking away at songwriting, recording, producing (even before I knew that’s what I was doing), distributing and trying to promote the music a little. It’s far from glamorous but incredibly rewarding and I’m gonna tell you why:
A. When you write a song that you can objectively say is good, lyrically wise; well that feels nice, especially since a fucking computer could do it for you but you know it’s good when you hear AI dogshit. And that’s in every genre.
B. Promoting your songs suck. Writing to playlisters who use AI before even listening to tell them if you have to much phase on the low end for two seconds of the song (whatever the fuck that means) is the reason they are passing “this time”. BTW, you people suck and don’t know what that means either.
B.1 It’s actually really fun to just put up the photos of people you love and call it a music video or canvas or reel or whatever the fuck, idk B.2: I get to reach out to the people I love, friends and family scattered on both sides of both ponds and say, you guys are the true soul of me,
C. When you make a decision to keep walking thru opening doors, you are awake at 1.25am listening to your own music trying to objectively decide if it’s any good. D. You nerd to teach yourself the true art of giving zero fucks. You think it’s good but then people don’t listen fast enough and again, 1:25am rolls in and you’re doing exactly what I am right now, D.1: I will never get over the playlister who called my. Vocal performance disturbing or the ones who complimented my songwriting on my I’m On Fire cover, E. The good songs come from truth about yourself and you only need to go down that rabbit hole when shit goes south. Last but not least. All of the above beside the aforementioned playlisters- you know who you are. It’s cool to see if the lemons worth the squeeze, and to hear something special in every song that you didn’t mean to do. It’s maybe possibly worth it. In the end, it sure isn’t time wasted. Besides those playlisters. And it is worth it when you connect with the curators, producers, labels, managers and everyone else who hears something special too an

This is what happens when good musicians meet for a jam session.

They bring an amazing vibe.

Few drummers were able to try this portable drum kit and the result was a succes!

My spring wrap-up from the La Grave dance floor.

The téléphérique didn’t open until late March this season, which forced us to spend more time in the backcountry. The silver lining was that we pushed further into zones that we don’t normally make it to.

Combe du Riou, Roche Faurio and Col Claire were all some of the best runs of my lifeee.
