Messing about in the off season with 200kg. Sorry @biglozwsm 😂 tried the Linkin Park pause deadlift challenge I've seen a few people do. Shaking like mad from about 3 seconds in 😂 @psychedemily with the assist 🤌

Got to lift heavy to get strong! If you're fairly new to the gym you don't need to worry about iver specifying lifts with things like bands, cuffs, specific rom exercises etc. You just need to focus on eating well and training hard and making sure you train with good form! A good coach can help you there 😉

Too many people worry about tiny little details when they start out when realistically you just need to eat and train hard. Thats what I've done and its worked pretty well so far!

As a competitor at Englands strongest man, 4 time Liverpools strongest man, 2 time British powerlifting champion, and 2nd place UK truck pulling championships, not to mention the invite only competitions I've done, I know what I'm doing when it comes to strength training

Its tough, it hurts, and its a constant learning curve. But having a decent coach can make all the difference

I have one to one openings at @empoweredfitgyms on most weekday mornings, and I also have space for online clients too. So if you want to get stronger and be supported on the journey, send me a message and let's get to work!

Happens to the best of us 😂

If you need to learn how to brace hard enough to fart, send me a message and let's work together 😂

Spending my day off doing more work on the armigers! I do not have dextrous hands so this is a struggle but it is slowly improving!

Also love this hobby because it's nice to have something not related to the gym, a screen, or a pint to take up my time and also money 😂

Shenanigans after my volume work. Feels good doing rows with 220kg and relatively good form 😂

Big shout out to @brianpmoss one of my online clients who pulled this lovely 220kg PB the other day! He's been with me for a while and there has been set backs here and there but he has always come back stronger and kept as consistent as possible and its paid off. Excellent work mate!

Brutal but throughly enjoyable! Love hitting legs hard, and getting into a rhythm with them. Best days of the week for me! Spent the whole session listening to @devildriver and cannot wait to see them at @bloodstockopenair

Front squats at 200kg
240kg leg press pause reps followed by ascending normal reps
Hamstring curls
Bulgarian split squats with 60kg on an SSB
Behind the back holds at 160kg

Shoot me a message if you're looking to get stronger, build muscle, get fitter etc and let's see about getting to work 💪

Little throwback to last month at @wxm.strongestman and pulling a new PB of 330kg relatively comfortably! If id known it would move like that I would have gone for 340 😂

Grip work is something that needs to be done consistently to stick well! I havent done pinch grip work for a long time and I feel it shows! However it is coming back relatively quickly which is nice!
