Funny how the city can make ten years feel like ten minutes. Old faces, reunions, and a reminder of where it all started. Closing out TIFF with FOMO last night. Shoutout to the boy for putting Canada on his back. Toronto will forever be home. by @joelreilly

45 today and feeling deeply grateful.

I feel blessed.
Blessed for my health.
Blessed for my family and friends.
Blessed to still be dreaming.
Blessed to still be building.
Blessed to wake up every day with new opportunities ahead and the energy to chase them.

There is something powerful about this chapter.
More alignment.
More purpose.
More life.
More gratitude.
More impact.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey so far.

45 and thrive 🙏🏼💫❤️ by @joelreilly

Cannes has a way of reminding you why you do this.

The meetings, the films, the late nights, the chance encounters, the big ideas that start as a conversation over coffee.

Building a company in this business is not for the faint of heart, but it’s exactly where we’re supposed to be.

A week of building business, strengthening relationships, and pushing the vision forward.

Grateful for the week. Excited for what’s next. taken in Festival de Cannes by @joelreilly

Hollywood is embracing AI… just not the version you think.
Honored to be included in @forbes today - Saying Yes to Utility and No to Generative AI. Grateful to my longtime friend @aden_bahadori for bringing me into the conversation.

Here’s where I land. AI belongs in the infrastructure layer. It should accelerate execution, sharpen decisions, and remove friction. It should not replace the source. Taste. Voice. Lived experience. The human signal.
I’m pro utility and anti imitation. The future is human made, with better tools. If you want to read more, link in my bio. by @joelreilly

Excited to finally share the news. Undisputed Pictures is proud to announce our next project PEACHES the new Hong Kong film from director Jenny Suen starring Sophie Thatcher and Havana Rose Liu. Working alongside Dirty Films Cate Blanchett, Andrew Upton and Coco Francini along with the family Sam Pressman and Jesse Ozeri.

IFC has picked up the North American rights and mk2 is handling global sales. The film is inspired by Vera Chitylova’s 1966 classic DAISIES a landmark of the Czech New Wave and one of the most influential pieces of radical cinema ever made. Pat and I are honored to carry that spirit forward with such an incredible team. by @joelreilly

Today I turn 44.
Not with noise, but in quiet awe.
With a kind of gratitude that grounds me.

A birthday is a privilege denied to many.
Mum, Dad - I know you watch over me daily with pride from above.

For the years behind me
some wild, some weary, all worthy.
The lessons that burned, and the ones that bloomed.
The moments that cracked me open
just enough for the light to pour in.
For there were dark moments too.

To my son,
you are the sunrise I never saw coming.
In your eyes, I see every reason to be better,
stronger, softer.
Fatherhood is not a role
it’s a home I now live in.

To my family and friends,
you’ve held me up,
called me out,
walked with me when I forgot how.
Love like that is no small thing.
It’s the foundation of everything I am today.

And to the journey we’ve walked with Undisputed Pictures
a body of work that’s taken root through time, love, and relentless energy in the development.
Shaped by faith, by friendship, and by a deep belief in telling stories that truly matter in this world.

Been my destiny since I was 8 and what we’ve built is something unique and to be here now, living in Los Angeles, shaping what comes next it’s the greatest feeling of all knowing we are on the precipice of something truly special. It’s taken time to get here like anything that’s worth it. And for what comes next… get your popcorn…

So here’s to 44
a mile marker on the road,
not an end, but a beautiful bend.
I’m here for it all.
Heart wide open.
Praise God
Love Joel

Went to Stonehenge this past week to scatter some of my mums ashes. It was her favourite place on earth. Walking around the grounds barefoot you could really feel the energy. It was truly magical. Laying her ashes brought some real closure and felt right bringing her home 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿❤️ by @joelreilly
