To our big boss man, Joe.

Another year older, another year of keeping Joeys going through sheer determination and an endless battle with fridges, freezers and anything else with a plug.

Still endlessly funny, still taking far too many pictures of deer, still somehow everywhere at once, and still running the biggest independent chain of cafés in the Lakes.

You really are the best.

The Great North Swim x Joey’s annual expedition to prove you can, in fact, get a coffee machine absolutely anywhere.

Another year of legendary coffee, Fell Brewery pints, our forever life changing Hazelnut Pain au Chocolats… and introducing the new kid on the block… The Whip menu.

If you’re gutted you missed out, don’t panic. You can still find us at @joeyscastle , @joeys_tarn , @joeys_hilltop and @joeys_claifeviewingstation , serving up plenty of Joeys goodness all season long.

Important to know: The Whip menu is exclusive to Wray Castle, so if you fancy giving it a try, that’s where you’ll find it.

Back at @arcteryxacademy for another year of pretending we’re outdoor athletes when in fact we are actually just handing out smoothies and flat whites in the sunshine. We Somehow became the Lake’s unofficial smoothie headquarters, which we’re choosing to take very seriously. Good weather, good people, and a lot of catching up — thanks for making us feel so welcome as always.
