Hi, we’re Grē 谷砺 👋 A creative design & strategy studio. We build brands, create content, help businesses go global, and build ERP systems & AI tools to make work easier. The name emerged in Cherry’s conversations with GPT, then waited almost a year. When John said we needed a company name, Cherry replied, “谷砺.” We loved it. In New York, on 5/20 — she graduated, and they got married. In China 520 sounds similar to 我爱你 I love you. I made this little lovely film for my good friends. @jingi.no.jin @kdyang32 I hope they stay happy, support each other, and grow old together with their hearts intertwined. Little poem I just wrote: You and I, at midnight, when the sun warms our backs, when the sky turns gray and heavy, when the wind softly brushes through the leaves, when the heat becomes unbearable, when the cicadas cry so loudly they fill the air, we will keep kissing, keep loving, forever and ever. At midnight, we run. We run to the edge of the world, run until we’re drenched in sweat, run until time stands still, run until our stomachs grumble, run until we can barely catch our breath, run until you forget my favorite color, run until I forget my math teacher’s name. And finally, we stop. We look at each other. Even with your bangs soaked in sweat, even as I notice your nostrils flare bigger and smaller with every breath, neither of us minds.
