Stop steering your short putts! ⛳

From inside three feet, don’t read the putt outside the hole. Aim the leading edge dead center, then strike it with authority. I want you to HEAR it go in the hole.

I filmed this lesson at the historic Cascades course at the Omni Homestead, Sam Snead’s home. You’ll also learn what “inside the leather” really meant in the old days.

Your top hand can have a bigger impact on the swing than you realize.

A lot of amateurs grip the club tightly during the takeaway, then unintentionally let go with the top hand as the swing progresses. This drill helps you build the dexterity and grip awareness to keep control of the club throughout the entire swing.
