🏆 BEST IN SHOW! I’m absolutely blown away! Moments ago, I learned that Next on the Tee has won **Best in Show for Sports Podcast Episodes at the Davey Awards**, presented on behalf of the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts! When I started this show in 2013, I wanted to share the stories of the people who make golf special—and help you enjoy the game a little more every time you tee it up. To have those conversations receive this recognition is beyond anything I could have imagined. To Recurring Guests Tom Patri and Dr. Robert Winters, Featured Guests Rob Strano and John Hughes, plus EVERY guest who has shared their stories, wisdom, and heart with us: thank you! And to everyone who has ever pressed play, shared an episode, or encouraged me along the way: you are part of this award, too. I’m incredibly grateful that you choose to spend some of your time with me. My Vitamin G cup is overflowing today! 💚⛳🎙️ **Next on the Tee—Where golf legends live and your game gets better.** #NextOnTheTee #DaveyAwards #BestInShow #GolfPodcast #VitaminG @daveyawards #aiva @tompatrigolf @dr.bobwinters @thegolfkingdom @johnhughesgolf

Your top hand can have a bigger impact on the swing than you realize. A lot of amateurs grip the club tightly during the takeaway, then unintentionally let go with the top hand as the swing progresses. This drill helps you build the dexterity and grip awareness to keep control of the club throughout the entire swing. Subscribe to Golf Live+ for more golf insight and instruction.

Trying to keep your head still might actually be creating the problem. Your eyes move first, your head follows, then your shoulders move with it — and that’s where the swing starts to fall apart. Watch the full breakdown on Golf Live+ for more instruction from top coaches around the world.

The 9-to-3 swing is one of the best shots to have when you need to play smart around a tucked pin. Take a big club, control the distance, and flight a little fade into the green. Sometimes the best way to lower your scores is simply making better choices. Subscribe to Golf Live+ for more tips and insights from top coaches.
