Unbranded 😌

The hotel in Chicago Illinois the moments after not making top 10. I was sad and upset. It took me a little while to accept my standing. Afterwards, @johnn_paul__ took these photos and reminded me who I am. We still made history, we still competed on a national stage for the first time ever, and I didn’t fall. Me and @johnn_paul__ went to Chicago!! It was for my pageant, but that’s 14/50 on the books! 🥳🥳 Exploring Illinois, learning about the architecture, creating a bond with my other Miss sisters, and making memories with my best friend was nothing short of unforgettable!

It was such a privilege to not only represent New Mexico, but also my Top Model title!! Taking this crown around the nation has been nothing short of amazing! Inspiring girls and women of all ages to be themselves and that women in STEAM fields can be queens too!

Hello to all my supporters!!! It’s been super busy here but I didn’t forget about you guys!! Here’s a lil update!!

It’s been a pretty cool journey so far as one of three Miss New Mexico Petite USA’s ever!!! I am the first one in the last 4 years though which is so exciting! In the last couple of days we’ve had orientation, interviews, a Sparkle Party where I won shiny stuff, photoshoots, I won a raffle, lots of mingling and I even got to explore Chicago Illinois! I’ve actually felt like part of something throughout this pageant and all the girls feel like a sisterhood. Definitely recommend doing this pageant if you’re thinking about it and under 5’6 of course!

I am so proud to represent New Mexico being fully authentically myself. I inspired some girls to wear their glasses and be unapologetically themselves because I chose to be different. A few of the girls even told me that they chose to wear their glasses or comfortable shoes because someone else was brave enough to be a little less formal when pressures are high.

Countdown To The Crown Day 7: Favorite Appearance

As a cybersecurity student, my favorite appearance wasn’t a traditional appearance. It was the exact moment that I launched No Makeup and Jeans. I got the opportunity to create a safe space for women that always felt lesser than because they weren’t “the typical female”. The women that the women that study in male dominated fields, the women that have more guy friends, the women that preferred MMA practice rather than a day at the mall and all the other women that are considered “different” or “weird”.

Whether you’re in a network closet or on a stage, you hold value and you are worth everything you desire. I’m so glad I get to be living proof and inspire thousands of women to step forward as they are, embracing Petite Power.

Help me and my boyfriend @johnn_paul__ help the LARGEST domestic violence shelter in New Mexico @lc_lacasainc

I didn’t want to bring my sash and my crown because I wanted to show that even without a title, we can all pitch in. Not everything is for content or views and I even debated recording. I hope this helps anyone looking for help or anyone wanting to help those who need it.
