Embraced my culture on this one…

I loved that this was such a great runway for a great cause! Dogs got adopted and now know where they can adopt them! I got what I was hoping for! The dogs were the stars of the show!! They got so many pets and sniffs and got to meet new people!

Through a hotel curtain…

I spent 5 years living life staring out of my bedroom window when I wasn’t working, going to college, and going to high school at the same time. Vitamin D levels were at an 12 when they were supposed to be at a 30… who knows how bad my other levels were… but I was so depressed yet so much was still expected of me.

Today I stand taller, I work to experience life the way it was meant to be experienced. All of my decisions are of my own and my life no longer resides in someone else’s hands.

Let things suck. Let bad moments have the space to bring tears and sorrow. For they are only moments, and they too will pass, along with time. Be whatever you want to be in life. Those who judge you or make you feel less than will become a blur in time. Give yourself space to let things suck, but don’t let it consume you for all eternity.

Live your life while you have it.

Unbranded 😌

The hotel in Chicago Illinois the moments after not making top 10. I was sad and upset. It took me a little while to accept my standing. Afterwards, @johnn_paul__ took these photos and reminded me who I am. We still made history, we still competed on a national stage for the first time ever, and I didn’t fall. Overall a win.

Me and @johnn_paul__ went to Chicago!! It was for my pageant, but that’s 14/50 on the books! 🥳🥳 Exploring Illinois, learning about the architecture, creating a bond with my other Miss sisters, and making memories with my best friend was nothing short of unforgettable!

It was such a privilege to not only represent New Mexico, but also my Top Model title!! Taking this crown around the nation has been nothing short of amazing! Inspiring girls and women of all ages to be themselves and that women in STEAM fields can be queens too!

Hello to all my supporters!!! It’s been super busy here but I didn’t forget about you guys!! Here’s a lil update!!

It’s been a pretty cool journey so far as one of three Miss New Mexico Petite USA’s ever!!! I am the first one in the last 4 years though which is so exciting! In the last couple of days we’ve had orientation, interviews, a Sparkle Party where I won shiny stuff, photoshoots, I won a raffle, lots of mingling and I even got to explore Chicago Illinois! I’ve actually felt like part of something throughout this pageant and all the girls feel like a sisterhood. Definitely recommend doing this pageant if you’re thinking about it and under 5’6 of course!

I am so proud to represent New Mexico being fully authentically myself. I inspired some girls to wear their glasses and be unapologetically themselves because I chose to be different. A few of the girls even told me that they chose to wear their glasses or comfortable shoes because someone else was brave enough to be a little less formal when pressures are high.
