First, buy a bag of googly eyes on Amazon or wherever, put them up when you see an opportunity. I make these for my wife for entertainment. I put them right in front of the coffeemaker so her day gets off to a good start. People magazine is always gold but you get them where you find them. by @johnnydelfuego

Me & my 88 year old mom toddled into Meridian Baptist Church. The volunteers were sweet with Mama while she waved her cane around with a big smile on her face. We showed our licenses & voter cards, signed the forms & headed to the back of the room. When they handed her the ballot she yelled “I remember to fill the whole box in! Last time I made X’s and y’all had to print me a whole new ballot!” I voted for the good guys (fingers crossed) & went to sit next to my mom while she filled in the boxes. One of the volunteers came over & said ”Are you assisting her?” “I’m her son” I replied. “If you didn’t sign a form to be her helper you’re not allowed to help her”. “M’ok I’ll just stand over here”. But she finished filling in the boxes and turned around clutching her ballot. I had to lead her to the machine where she fed the form in. She thanked all the volunteers, grabbed her “I Voted” sticker & we toddled right back to the car. She climbed in and I clicked in her seatbelt. I walked around and got in the driver’s seat and started up. Mom was putting the sticker on her little purse next to the one she put on there last time I took her to vote. She got it on there, turned and saw me watching her, smiled and said “That felt good!” It was a good day. by @johnnydelfuego
