With the impending release of our new album PUNK RUINS (Out October 23rd!!) we all thought we’d have a look around the house for some vintage items that might illustrate where we come from and Brian is first up with a couple gems from his garage #punkruinsroadshow #punkruins by @johnnytemple127

In 1991, we dropped the “By The Time I Get To Arizona” video — aimed straight at Arizona and New Hampshire for refusing to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a holiday. Called despicable, banned in spots, never one bad word from the King family. #Apocalypse91 — 35 Years Ago, TODAY!

DAY ONE — Chuck’s new book of art and commentary. 800 signed & numbered copies out November 10, and the $200 edition includes a one-of-a-kind Sketchograph. Link in bio.

Turn the page and draw the line from 1991 to right now: Mein Kampf, “Mein Trump,” and a movement getting “weirdly familiar.” 🤔 by @johnnytemple127

An athiest Jew, a Booker Prize winner, a Pulitzer Prize winner, and an Oprah’s Book Club pick walk into a church…

Despite the havoc of wind and rain, the @bkbookfest persevered this year and made the very most of a tough situation. My personal highlight was interviewing Marlon James and Colson Whitehead at St. Ann & the Holy Trinity Church about their phenomenal new novels. The three of us are joined here by the outstanding Edwidge Danticat. Please judge me by the company I keep. by @johnnytemple127

Only 800 copies printed, each one signed and numbered!

My publisher is also offering a preorder package available exclusively from akashicbooks.com and includes:

• A copy of “Day One” autographed (and numbered) by me ✍🏾 — One of only 800 copies in existence.

• A SketchOgraph — An original portrait of YOU (or someone of your choosing) by me. These “sketchographs” are one-of-a-kind, nonreturnable, and drawn in the impressionistic artistic style reflected in the pages of “Day One,” based on a photo you provide.
