…now watching VXO Beauty Academy become a Best of Texas 2026 winner I didn’t start this journey knowing exactly what kind of educator I would become. I just knew there were things about beauty education I wanted to do differently. Then came the students. The first demonstrations. The lessons that worked and the ones I had to rethink. The classrooms. The events. The opportunities to teach outside four walls. Watching students finally understand something they once struggled with. Watching them graduate, become licensed, build careers and eventually come back as professionals themselves. And somewhere between teaching technique and teaching people how to believe in what they were capable of, education became one of the biggest parts of my purpose. I’ve changed as an educator. My teaching has changed. The school has changed. And every class has taught me something too. From becoming an educator, to building curriculum, to challenging what beauty school could look like, to being named one of Intercoiffure America/Canada’s Top Five Teachers in 2025, and… What a journey. And the wildest part? I still feel like I’m just getting started. This one is for every student who has ever sat in one of my classes. You helped build the teacher I am today. Not every beauty school is built with your future in mind. 🚩 Before you enroll, ask questions, do your research, verify credentials, and understand exactly what you’re paying for. Your education is an investment, not a gamble. Don’t fall for empty promises, shortcuts, or schools that prioritize enrollment over education. Choose a school that teaches you, challenges you, and prepares you for the industry beyond graduation. Welcome to your fall program Choose wisely. Your future deserves it. #VXOBeautyAcademy #BeautyEducation #FutureBeautyProfessionals #BeautySchool by @johnnytheeducator

“I don’t have enough time.” “I don’t have enough time.” “I don’t have enough time.” MAKE THE TIME. There are 168 hours in a week. Just one hour a day toward your goals equals 365 hours of progress a year. While you’re saying you don’t have enough time, someone else is making the time, taking the risk, building the dream, and grabbing the opportunity you’re postponing. The difference? They’re taking action while you’re making excuses. Time doesn’t stop. Neither does opportunity. #MakeTheTime #MindsetMatters #JohnnyTheEducator by @johnnytheeducator

@dkthewaxer stopped by with @depilbrazil Beauty education goes beyond the classroom. Our partnership with Depil Brazil brings the Intimate Wellness Experience to VXO Beauty Academy, introducing our students to advanced waxing techniques, intimate skincare, product knowledge, and the importance of client confidence and care. We believe brand integration is essential to developing well-rounded beauty professionals.
