Fall is Falling, ya’ll!! My first time ever watching leaves change colors and the San Juan Mountains are not disappointing.

Every day in Silverton, Colorado a train arrives from Durango. It has been in continuous operation since 1882. Sitting here watching the train arrive takes me back to that time. Passengers still disembark with huge smiles on their faces from their journey through the San Juan mountains. They still wait in lines for a hamburger and a Coke. The bar maid still rings a bell and waves, beckoning to the 1800s era saloon below (and ghosts of prostitutes past).
.
It’s one of those places that you can feel the history, not just see it. This town is pure magic.
