Johno would love to see Instagram fail. But does being in bed with Meta to this degree worry the most famous hat on the platform? by @johnoverity

My @welooksideways podcast went live this morning. It’s with my friend of 30 years Matt Barr. It gave us a chance to go deep and clear out the baggage built up from years of poor communication. Suffice to say we’ve both been feeling so much better about our friendship since. It really is good to talk. by @johnoverity

The most famous hat on Instagram was a happy accident.

Out this Thursday: Johno Verity on the pink hat, filming London empty at dawn, the pushback on his history videos, being in bed with Meta, his VO5 ad, our dad issues and our 30 years of friendship, ego, vulnerabilities and all. by @johnoverity

We Can’t Not - live on Red Bull Snow, 1 Nov 2026, 18:00 CET.

Paddy’s spent his whole life making ski films. But explaining why he’s compelled to do so? Not so much.

Until now. “We Can’t Not” is a ski film about making a ski film. One that his whole family can understand.

Well, that’s the idea anyway.

And what better way to do this than by rounding up a who’s who of the world’s best skiers and pointing them at Alaska, the most feared and equally beautiful proving ground in freeride?

What follows is two years of long waits, gear anxiety, thumping helicopter blades, and moments that either fall apart or turn into something extraordinary.

Narrated by Sean Bean, expect introspection, snow nerds, raw talent and the occasionally terrifying stab at the only question that matters: Why do we do this?

PREMIERES
Innsbruck 23 Oct, Metropol Kino
Whistler 24 Oct, IF3 Awards
Sheffield 25 Oct, ODEON Luxe Sheffield
London 27 Oct, BFI Southbank
Annecy 30 Oct, Pathé - Bonnes Nouvelles 3
Ambleside 1 Nov, The Epicentre, screening and Q&A with Paddy

Such a fun project to have worked on. I loved every moment of it. A massive thanks @jackiepaaso and @elysesaugstad for having our crew at @autumn.works take it on. Fantastic writing and acting from @hershapatel . I’d also like to extend a big thanks to @codytownsend and @reinebarkered for helping with all of the kit carrying and child juggling. You lot all rock. Also to @silvrettamontafon for supplying such fine snow. I can’t believe we managed to film all of the action in about 5 days. by @johnoverity

On Friday morning we invited friends to a dawn cycle in memory of our friend Nelson Pratt who took his own life back in 2012. We did it to bring awareness to the incredible charity @calmzone who do an amazing job of bringing awareness to this. Thanks to @forestbike_uk for supplying free rides to everyone. Thanks to all for making the effort to get up aggressively early to join us. This will not be the last of these. by @johnoverity
