ATM lands at Jolene with Rasaaq, John Raffaele and Ricardo Roessel on Saturday.

Some nights you only understand in hindsight — the trust arrives quietly, and later you realise you’d been dancing inside something rare the whole time. Those rooms don’t appear on their own. People spend years, mostly unseen, building them.

This one is dedicated to those builders. The collectives who treat a space less like a venue and more like a shared breath, who turn warehouses and half-forgotten rooms into places where time stops mattering. Not reverence — something looser and warmer than that.
For this edition we bring three of them to Copenhagen: a Philadelphia record shop owner and long-standing organisers from New York, Philly, Boston and Chicago. Carried by the current as much as shaping it.

ATM | Saturday, 22 August • Jolene, Copenhagen 🇩🇰

Movements take shape slowly, trust arrives quietly, only later do you realize you were dancing between something rare and special the whole time. That kind of night doesn’t happen on its own, some people spend years, unseen, laying the groundwork for it. As Underground culture has been used, borrowed and claimed by generations reaching for something to belong to. But every so often, comes those who spend long, unglamorous devotion to something bigger than themselves.

This night is dedicated to those who have built those dance floors, collectives that have treated spaces less like a music venue and more like a collective breath shared by a room full of strangers. Not reverence, but something looser, warmer, closer to the feeling of a place where time stops mattering. Celebrating those who have spent countless years turning warehouses and half-forgotten rooms into spaces where that feeling could exist. Being apart of a current the whole way through, carried by sound as much as shaping it.

This Saturday August 15th, we’re switching things up with a daytime rooftop party in Brooklyn.
