We are stoked to have our Subsurface famz in the mix for a thing called The SUBSURFACE SHAKEDOWN happening this Friday outside (yes WE OUTSIDE!) @fringebar from 10p-2a.

From the corners of Kensington in 2017, John Raffaele & Keen built Subsurface as an outlet to transform abstract spaces and book undiscovered talent to give the dance music enthusiast an unforgettable immersive experience.

Eventually taking their sound on the road, John & Keen have played many of the most notable underground event series across the US. Furthermore, the globe, at festivals such as Dimensions & Trotamundo or clubs like Mtkvarze and Umi.

Always digging. Always evolving.

Last Euro-trip dump. An ode to the summer. Bring on the fall

I spent last weekend dancing to techno at a summer camp with my friends. I don’t have much video evidence of Sustain-Release as I was there to lock in to the music & community, not to create content.

However, I’ve been doing a lot of introspection since I’ve returned home, and this post is a reflection of my gratitude for the weekend and all the hard work @aurorahalal and her team put in to make the magic possible.

Scroll through to see a few of the moments of music and community that moved me and grooved me this S-R.

Thank you to festival team for bringing this event to life for the 12th year in a row. Your dedication to diversifying the music and improving the experience does not go unnoticed. 🙏

BTW, @ccl_url closed their 4-hour set with the @miles_mercer version of this track. Such a vibe.

The first ever Subsurface Boat party at @dimensionsfestival was everything we could’ve asked for and more!!

S/o to @grant_dell @doudou.md & our residents John & Keen for taking on us on an epic voyage start to finish and all the dancers that blew the roof off! This one will stick with us for a long time.⚡️🏴‍☠️
