what’s your fav pizza spot in NYC? 🍕

this is 📍John’s of Bleecker Street @johnsofbleeckerstreet (278 Bleecker St, New York, NY 10014) where Dave Portnoy rated their pizza a 9.3! I honestly had very high expectations, and it was one of the best plain margarita slices I’ve had in New York City!

TIP👉 — Make sure to order on @grubhub to avoid the line. We got our order in 15-20min!

We ordered:
⭐️14’ margherita pizza (added half pepperoni) — tbh wouldn’t add the pepperoni next time

🍕 WHEN YOUR BEST FRIENDS ASK FOR THE REAL NYC PIZZA EXPERIENCE…

My best friends came in from LA, and when they said they wanted New York pizza, I knew exactly where we were going — John’s of Bleecker Street.

A Greenwich Village institution since 1929, still serving coal-fired pies with the history, character and flavor that make this place one of NYC’s true originals.

We went Original with pepperoni, loaded up the Jimmy Gambino, and of course finished with my personal favorite — the Margherita. 🍕🔥

Some places you visit for the pizza. John’s is the whole New York experience.

And getting to share it with my friends made this one even better!

We have two 1950s benches from John’s of Bleeker Street. The pizzeria replaced their oldest benches in the summer of 2024 but they donated 2 to support our nonprofit. These benches are classic and they are part of the identity of one of New York City’s most important pizzerias
