✨ Celebrating Black History Month ✨

This month hits different.

Jeremiah made history in 2025 as the first actor with Down syndrome to be nominated for an NAACP Image Award for his role in Color Book. To see his name connected to the legacy of the NAACP and the NAACP Image Awards is something we will never take lightly.
Black history is about resilience.
It’s about breaking barriers.
It’s about rewriting narratives that were never inclusive to begin with.
Jeremiah stands in the intersection of Black excellence and disability representation — showing the world that there is space for EVERY story, every ability, every dream.

We are proud. We are grateful. And we are just getting started. 🤎✨

I absolutely loved the retreat, most importantly, the genuine connections made along the way. It was such a blessing to share a little of our story, our journey, and the experiences that continue to shape us in hopes of inspiring others.

One of the highlights of today’s Buddy Walk was finally meeting Jeremiah Daniels and his amazing mom!

After connecting with his mom through social media, we were both so excited to finally meet in person. And getting to meet Jeremiah was such a treat! He is truly the sweetest, and I loved watching Noah get a chance to say hi. 🥹

@jadaniels25 is an actor with Down syndrome who stars in the Netflix movie Color Book. Seeing actors like Jeremiah on our screens is such a beautiful reminder of why representation and inclusion matter so much.

Definitely a special Buddy Walk moment we’ll remember. 💙💛
