A year ago, my entire life changed.

Amazon invited me to pitch Maskee®, the beauty hood that prevents makeup transfer when changing, on Amazon Prime’s newest hit show Buy It Now. Hosted by @ohsnapjbsmoove

Never would I have thought that I would be in front of the incomparable @iamtabithabrown, billionaire innovator Jamie Siminoff (founder of @ring), and key executives from @amazon. They literally held and used my product!!

I didn’t feel ready. But God saw me fit.

That moment proved that preparation meets purpose when you move with faith. Since that day, we’ve grown brick by brick, organically and with impact. Maskee has been featured in magazines, won pitch competitions, and created opportunities for students at @pvamu.

Growth is still the mission. Impact is still the goal. 💫

This is something I’ve dedicated five years to inventing and I am so thankful that it is now available for purchase @themaskeeshop.

My Dad hooded me🥹

In 2010, I watched my Dad recieve his PhD and become the first Emale to be a Doctor. 16 years later, he got to watch me graduate from Prairie View A&M University and become Dr.JoAnn Emale, DBA.

Thank you for being my greatest inspiration!

Legacy at the Table | A Juneteenth & Father’s Day Celebration at Pangea Dallas 🤍

It was truly an honor to host Legacy at the Table on behalf of S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna.

These brands are rooted in bringing people together, and there was no greater occasion than celebrating Juneteenth alongside the fathers, mentors, and leaders who continue to shape our communities.

A special thank you to Chef Kev for opening the doors of Pangea Dallas and curating an incredible menu that created the perfect setting for fellowship and meaningful conversation.

Around the table, we heard powerful stories of fatherhood, legacy, resilience, and love. We had the opportunity to celebrate remarkable men, give them their flowers, and honor the impact they make within their families and throughout our community. Moments like these are exactly why I love what I do.

To everyone who joined us, thank you for making the evening so special. I hope you left feeling just as celebrated as the legacy you continue to build every day.
