I have so many posts to share and it's hard to choose a first. I will start with the most unexpected thing and share my gratitude! Last night in the middle of us honoring the beautiful Miss Juneteenth Contestants, I was called out and honored with the 2022 Miss Juneteenth Volunteer of the Year award and a college scholarship. What a moment of true sweetness from @jojo.emale, pageant director, Miss Juneteenth, and @juneteenthftw @unityunlimitedftw. You really surprised me. I am actually still blown away to be a part of planning Juneteenth and feel that I have already been granted the best thing ever. Thank you so much for giving me the many wonderful opportunities. I am so overjoyed! Congrats to everyone on a gorgeous evening and much love to @therealopallee for bringing us as all together.
