Happy birthday to me! Another year of overcoming struggle and reaching our goals. Showcasing artistry, teaching, and learning from those around me. Im so grateful for my community and dont know where I'd be without drag and ballroom.

We’re 4 days out from Bloodbath but we still have some tricks up our sleeves - Jojo Ventus Ninja is joining us as a special guest performer!! Jojo’s joined us before as a judge for our 2024 competition and we’re honored to have him back. Jojo is raising funds to offset the rippling costs of getting severely ill in August, so we better see folks with dollars, fives, and more out for him on Sunday. If you want to donate sooner to his rent fund, the l!nk is in the usual spot.

Jojo is your Mr Gay 90s 2026, the father of the Minneapolis chapter of the House of Ninja, performer at the Emerald City Kings Ball 2026 in Seattle and North Star Nerdlesque Fest locally, not to mention a local legend in the ball, drag, and burlesque scenes.

This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund. by @jojo_ventus

Hello everyone. I am currently raising money for rent help. I have until this friday October the 16th to pay all of my rent. Back in August I was on and off sick and then very ill towards the last 2 weeks of that month of August. During that time I lost about 8 gigs that would have paid my rent and help with fees. I've been behind on rent since June and have been waiting on assistance for 3 months now.
As many of you know I work alot. My art, drag, Vogue Down Minneapolis, and my regular part time I was able to afford rent easily. But since I fell ill and trying to catch up on payments, late fees and charges have been stacking up.
I have asked so much of this community and I'm very grateful to anyone who donates. As the community has been the reason I've been able to travel and showcase my artistry. I'm only doing the gofundme as I have exhausted all other options.
RentHelpMN, Emergency Assistance , Salvation Army , Powerderhorn and all other resources from 211 are either full, no longer exist, or the wait list is too long. I dont have the resources or time to move right now. Or to continue waiting on wait list for assistance. I love my neighborhood, my art and drag communty, and dont want to have to pack up and leave .

Please consider sharing, donating, and as always im very grateful for you all, Thank you.
