Quitting Smoking Creatively- Jani KacovaΒ @jokou.art Jani didn’t like being addicted to smoking, but found herself trapped in a cycle with it due to many contributing factors of her childhood, neurodivergence, and navigating adulthood in a new country. She struggled to quit, going as long as eight months at a time before falling back into the habit from β€œjust having a couple pulls.” Jani finally found her way out by following her heart’s wisdom and soothing her busy mind and hands with artistic expression. 🎧 Listen to the full story on the You Can Quit Smoking podcast. #youcanquitsmoking #quitsmoking #neurodivergence #nervoussystem #habitchange by @jokou.art

πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘ I've never heard of this disorder and I don't wish this to anyone. Most surreal and I feel so lucky I'm not completely paralysed, or on wheelchair with many seizures, loosing consciousness (2x in 15 days do far) daily, as many are, however it is so scary anyway!!! There's no timeline when you'll be better, if you'll be better, nor completely healed. Everything is challenging as I'm like a walking disaster, knocking this down, ect. I will do everything in my power to heal completely & no way I'll stop sculpting. This started 15 days ago & gotten worse. Now.....it will only get better! It must 🀌 I'll make sure. This is hopefully the only reel I'll dedicate to this, next....more sculpting. We have a massive day in our studios at ESW called the Big Spell. Don't miss out, our studios are open and plenty of artworks across the whole building. I'll do my best to stay as long as I can, be kind & curious with me and enjoy it all ❀️‍πŸ”₯ If you're interested in some of my artwork, don't be shy and let me know πŸ’ƒπŸ’« #ESW #Edinburgh #festival #Fringe #art taken in Loch Leven (Kinross) by @jokou.art

πŸŒΏπŸ¦‹πŸ’›πŸŒ±πŸ”₯πŸͺ„❀️‍πŸ”₯ This reel is a compilation of a lot of old stuff with a little if current times. Been with some unknown health stuff, which completely unable me to do much at all, really bugs me , hopefully back soon to life 🫢 My very 1st hand sculpted character Lilo, inspired by creational video from beautiful Lucy @bumpkinova.art 16yrs ago, was how I absolutely knew, I need to get clay and explore. Lilo was a main character I created for an assigned book cover I was invited design, you can find it still on Amazon I believe. "Tales of a Mossy Heart" by Paulo Mateus, gosh, this info is ancient, but crucial in my history πŸ˜ƒ I used to do a lot of photography work also, will post some more if I find them. Now I battle a lot my neurodivergence, done times the stakes are really high πŸ’πŸ»β€β™€οΈ but you've got to go on, ALWAYS πŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒπŸ’ƒ Hope you are all well and don't forget tomorrow's eclipse πŸŒ“ LOVE ❀️‍πŸ”₯ #art #artist #sculptor #life #artistslife taken in Edinburgh, United Kingdom by @jokou.art

πŸ‘‡ Took a little time off sculpting to unpack the car after the beautiful weekend, get other things ready to before I dine into new editions work. But before all that, I really just want to finish at least 2 of those pieces and slowly get ready to learn how to cast into bronz 😁😁😁 So excited like a little child. πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡ Who are we all? Do you observe people enough? Especially the ones close to you? Do you pay attention? Pause? Take many small moments a day for stillness & silence? Do you love what you do? Are you your favourite person despite imperfections? There's so much in our minds, my head is on non stop, always, even at night. That's why daytime can be challenging, but you can make it manageable with the right knowledge. What drives you? You guys are amazing so far with my reels. They take me ages to create. But I'll stick with it as I love doing them. It's like speaking to you all without speaking and being there πŸ˜β€οΈβ€πŸ”₯🌳 Have a wonderful day you all, I'll be back in tge evening maybe with another one β˜„οΈβ˜„οΈβ˜„οΈβ€οΈβ€πŸ”₯❀️‍πŸ”₯❀️‍πŸ”₯ Peace & Love πŸŒ³πŸ’«πŸ¦ #art #sculpture #drawing #humanity #lifelessons taken in Edinburgh, United Kingdom by @jokou.art
