When you love reading so much that you get a tattoo of your absolute favorite series, it’s probably time to start a bookstagram.

I was always afraid of putting myself out there and creating something like this as I would think, who am I to talk about these things? This is because I was worried about what others would think, but isn’t about anyone else. This is about me sharing my love and joys in life - a little piece of myself and my creativity that I want to share. If people like it and want to join me along this journey, then great. If not, that’s okay too, but this is my space and no amount of someone not liking it will take this away from me.

So, welcome! Thank you to @teeenytattoo for the tattoo that inspired it all and for giving me the courage to share a little piece of myself 😘

@rideindoorcycling is such a special place for me, literally a home away from home. When I started here November 2017, I had just left a toxic job and was not in the best shape physically or mentally.

Since then, I have strived to create a healthier version of myself. RIDE has given me the space to be free and work through many emotions and issues. What truly makes RIDE special is the people that make up its community. We are all on a separate journey but we are all growing together and riding bikes that go nowhere and everywhere at the same time. I’ve met so many beautiful people whom I’m truly lucky to have in my life and will cherish forever.

To say the last several months have been a struggle would be an understatement, but last night reminded me of what truly matters - the people who show up for you, lift you up, and celebrate you, even complete strangers. There is beauty in the world if you stop to look for it. I’m truly grateful I get to experience this regularly.

Thank you to everyone who has supported me, loved me, and accepted me. You don’t know how much it is truly appreciated 💙

This day is as much about me as it is about the one who made me a mom - my little mini me, my best friend, and the one I can’t imagine life without 💙 Harrison is the love of my life. Parenting is already hard enough without someone assuming that you’re a crappy parent bc your child is a deeply feeling kid and hits. It happens. I talked to him about it but don’t act like your kid won’t do it too. He wasn’t and is not malicious and I know I’m a good parent. Stay in your lane and don’t lecture me about how “bad” my kid is and how I need to talk to him. taken in Spring, Texas by @jole24

This birthday was all sorts of wonky due to the weather, but I’m thankful for everyone who intended to celebrate with me (freezing rain check) and who actually did get to celebrate with me!

Birthdays tend to be very emotional, especially as I get older, but I couldn’t have asked for more. Thanks to my husband who covered me at work and booked a bike for me to ride with @cmarie_tx who created a bomb ass playlist for me and somehow made a birthday boot camp ride 🤣 and all the people who celebrated alongside me who either only know me in passing or don’t know me at all but cheered for me as I rode podium home 😭🥹 @rideindoorcycling seriously is a special place.

Took the best gift I will ever have, my mini, to a birthday party where he got to be a mad scientist 🧑‍🔬

Finished the day off with a birthday dinner at Fogo and ate way too much steak 🥩

It wasn’t what I planned or expected, but definitely grateful for what I had given the circumstances 💙 by @jole24
