This adventure began with me putting everything in the hands of God, working with no promises to earn the chance to walk on to a collegiate team. Five years later and this adventure has come to an end. Times come and go, but the highest honor I have received has been the chance to spill my blood, sweat, and tears for and alongside this family. Through it all, and though it never comes quite how I expect it, God has remained faithful to me. In all things, I have sought to honor Him, and while my sacrifice has never been pretty or perfect, He has taken it and turned it into something greater. Let that be enough.

For all the Gallant Men who have come before and for those yet to come, for the God who has never left me or forsaken me, Strength and Courage. This is not the end (marathon time). by @joloho.27

There have been two thoughts on my mind every race this season: God, I surrender myself to you, and let me prove worthy of my brothers. I was never recruited to this team; I wasn't first choice, or even second or third, but through patience and grit, God opened every door that seemed closed to me, and I walked on. Where there was loss and rejection, God placed a crown on my head. I have run the race before me and have still not grown weary, surrendering all to the One greater than I, and in the midst of it all, have found the brotherhood I've always longed for. One more track season, 25 more laps around the gilded track. by @joloho.27

So Jacob was left alone, and a man wrestled with him till daybreak.
