FRAGMENT explores how product and production transparency can be communicated directly through the product itself.

The porcelain lamps serve as physical product passports, making information about the product’s life cycle and gaps in transparency across production sites in Germany, Portugal, and China visible and comparable.

TRK-01 translates the principle of the ERCO ceiling track into the workspace, making light tangible as a movable, sensory element. The luminaire responds to human interaction and flexibly accompanies work processes.
As a complementary system to the ERCO ceiling track, TRK-01 brings light down to desk level, expanding its functional range.

Horizontal adjustments are made via the track, while vertical positioning is controlled through the lamp head. It features a dedicated friction joint in which two components are pressed firmly against each other, allowing the position to be adjusted with slight force, while the resulting friction reliably holds it in place.

What a privilege it was to work so closely with the very best, in a space with such a unique atmosphere. To me, it was the very center of the company, the place where the idea found its shape. It was truly inspiring to watch the master modelers Madalena, Zé Carlos, and Moisés at work. The way they handled the materials with such skill and sensitivity, chose the right tools for each form, timed everything so perfectly and all with such ease.
I was able to take away countless small tips and tricks that I will never forget, which deepened my connection to porcelain even further.
At the same time, having the chance to work on my own projects there was a wonderful experience. I will never forget the time spent in that room. The special atmosphere, the sound of the turning machines, the shaping with my hands, and the short but beautiful conversations in Portuguese are all deeply etched into my memory.
My heartfelt thanks to Madalena, Moisés, Zé Carlos Branco, Carla, and everyone else who accompanied me along the way!

Ceramics have fascinated me from the very beginning. First through the simple act of shaping clay by hand, later at the potter’s wheel. Eventually, I was drawn to porcelain. Its fine translucency, the balance between fragility and strength, and its distinctive tactile quality open up design possibilities that go far beyond function. In my work, I seek lightness and precision, forms that are reduced and clear, yet radiate a quiet elegance.

The past three months have been a real adventure!
I’m incredibly grateful for everything.
It was a fantastic time and I really appreciated all the insights into how things work behind the scenes.
It meant a lot to me to have your trust and to be able to contribute some of my own thoughts and ideas.
I’ve learned so much in so many different areas.

The arrangement possibilities of the four surfaces of each unit allow the modules to be easily and flexibly combined both on top of and next to each other. The inward-facing bevels of the edges give the shelf a simple and elegant shape.
The spacers made of cork oak allow air to circulate through the elements, giving the system a sense of lightness without damaging the oak surface with technical connectors. Additionally, the cork discs provide slip resistance and compensate for any unevenness in the floor.
Especially in the digital age, this piece of furniture highlights the importance of experiencing materials through touch and creating a tangible connection to nature.
It not only enhances the objects stored within it but also serves as an inspiring material library. Throughout our lives, we collect many small yet meaningful objects that hold special significance for each individual and therefore deserve a special place.
