For his upcoming episode of @atthebarhq, wine legend @tomgilbeywine joined @jonalmond to crack open a bottle of @lavieilleferme and swipe right or left on a series of potentially relationship-ending wine opinions.

“I hate Aperol Spritz!” 🍊

@georgieeats certainly doesn’t sit on the fence. 😳

Carrie Bradshaw has a lot to answer for. 🍸

@georgieeats first started drinking Cosmopolitans because of Sex and the City.

Then she realised something important:

They’re actually really good.

So when Georgie joined us At The Bar, @jack_sotti made a proper Cosmo - pale pink, citrusy, boozy and finished with burnt orange - and EVERYONE was a fan.

Before he stopped drinking, that meant taking things to an extreme.

Now, nearly 13 years sober, that same intensity goes into work, training and whatever challenge he decides to take on next.

We went digging through the chef’s bible for @cheftomkerridge’s Welcome Drink. 📖

Hidden inside Larousse Gastronomique is a surprisingly simple non-alcoholic drink called a figuette - figs, juniper and water.

So our resident bartender @jack_sotti decided to bring it back to life.

Tom’s verdict?

“Like posh Lipton.”

More importantly, after nearly 13 years without alcohol, Tom reckons a great non-alcoholic drink deserves exactly the same care, craft and thought as anything boozy.
