Been on a sauna journey.

A few years ago, during graduate school, I discovered a century-old sauna in Massachusetts, and the experience was a total shift. Since then, I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about architecture, atmosphere, gathering, and quality of life.

Those ideas took a lot of different forms, but eventually turned into a real company: Åland Saunas.

We build solid timber saunas from 6-inch timbers — the only company of its kind in the United States. It’s been a quest to pull off.

The website is finally live. This image is the homepage.

Thanks @bsaucestewart and @andrewcapener for helping make it happen. And thanks to everyone who’s followed along while this slowly came into focus.
