TODAY'S FEATURED COMIC ART
CUL DE SAC 1 VARIANT COVER
ARTISTS: JONATHAN MARKS BARRAVECCHIA @jonathanmarksart
CAF GALLERY: JAMES HENDERSON

Get ready to meet Jonathan Marks Barravecchia this month at @IndieComicsCreatorCon [IC3@PVD]! "I would describe my drawing style as painterly, loose, hopefully emotional and expressive. I draw directly with ink so the line remains spontaneous and lively (a technique from George Pratt, who described it as an 'honest' line), and work with watercolor often, so there is an interesting push and pull of control."

He also says he loves indie comics because "The creative freedom is everything. Tell the stories you want, in the style you want, design the book how you want, make it the size, the length, the whatever you want. That's what indie comics are all about."

Find Anderson at table F2-42 during IC3@PVD on Saturday, September 26, 2026 from noon till 8pm at Teamworks Warwick. He also has some original artwork available for sale on his website if you are interested.

Click the link in our bio to subscribe to the CAF newsletter for more daily featured art!
