I almost didn’t make that first trip to Thailand that was a pivotal moment that created the desire to continue this sport for over 18 years now. Yes, a promoter should promote but a promoter can’t promote you as much as you can promote yourself and your team. This is starting cost, so you’re in the hole just from medicals. This doesn’t include training, travel, diet, time off work, your coaches licensing fees, etc. The purse size I’m mentioning is for Muay Thai, I’ve had our guys offered as low as $200!Did you know this?
