I never knew how much hardcore would mean to me 21 years since it found me. I remember when it all started I somehow got in touch with Ronin to do some design work for Boston Beatdown Vol 2 when I was a young buck in 03/04 which lead me down the road of listening to bands like @deathbeforedishonorbhc @coaisforthepeople @ramallahhxc Righteous Jams etc. Last night was the reminder I needed of how much I missed coming around. Reignited my spark. Thank you @haywire617 Skinhead @bloodforbloodofficial @conservativemilitaryimageusa @twitchingtongues @rudeawakeningmvhc @recollectionusa @yellow_stitches_official @moshbeef . Thank you for everything because without hardcore I do not know If I would be alive. Thanks for all the memories and the friends I have met and will meet along the way. by @jonnyxcured

This year has been a constant work in progress. This image resonates with me as of late. This was taken when life was so simple. As you can see, Im pushing back the hands of time. As Im getting older, I am finding myself having to go back and heal wounds that were left in childhood. Some days feel harder than others. The difference now is I am more aware of these things and have been actively working on them. These traumas have cost me paths to happiness and opportunities. They have held me back from taking leaps and adventure. But they have also made me a person who loves endlessly. A person who just wants to be a light in a world when it sometimes feels pitch black. Its made me give when I have nothing just to see someone else smile. I would never want to change where or what I came from. As much as the past creeps up to haunt me at me times and sabotage things, I wouldnt be who I am today if it wasn't for them.

To anyone who has stood by my side and have witnessed my growth and continue to show up with love, I will forever be in your debt. Thank you for showing up for me when I couldn't even show up for myself.
