POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

My 2026 Directors/Directing Reel 🎬

I’m grateful for the stories I’ve been able to tell so far, and the collaborators who helped shape them. I’m still a long way from where I want to be, but I’m looking forward to what’s ahead in 2026.

Two weeks ago, I officially completed my 18-month journey at Toronto Film School @torontofilmschool. I graduated with people who became friends, collaborators and a real part of my story.

After finishing high school in March 2023, I wasn’t sure what path to take. Then my dad came across Toronto Film School while searching online and I decided to take a chance. I’m glad I did. I walked in with a passion for filmmaking and walked out with skills, confidence and experiences I’m proud of.

My time at TFS gave me the chance to learn the craft and to direct the films that shaped my journey there: A Recipe for Romance, The Honest Guest (my thesis film) and Clockwork Tension (my breakout as a director). These projects went on to screen and win awards at the Alternative Film Festival, Couch Film Festival, New Jersey Film Awards and Brampton International Nollywood Film Festival. I never expected that when I first started.

To my instructors, friends and family, thank you for always supporting me. From late-night assignments to long production days, I’m grateful for everyone who helped me get here.

Here’s to the next chapter. 🥂🎬

Some of my top frames from Stay Awhile; a 48 Hour Film Challenge short that reminded me why I love visual storytelling.

Every moment was built fast, instinctively, and with a lot of trust between departments. Limited time, big heart, and a team fully locked in.🎬

One of the short films “Stay Awhile” I worked on as BTS went on to receive multiple festival awards.

This is a glimpse of the day between “action” and “cut”
where stories are built, shot by shot.
