2 dresses made from vintage arsenal jerseys they sent me and my hoardings of random charity shop, found and scrap materials. Also adidas tops bought from chazza and vinted. swipe for process on yellow one. Jepic.

in late 2023 I was commissioned to make samples to generate ideas for @adidasoriginals

they provided the tops, I did my thing!

I added patches that flowed a bit like the panelling, made some digital print tribal-esque graphics for the sleeves and got my wonderful friend @madilongname of @divine_mania_ (fka Psyryn) to airbrush a back patch based on a drawing I did that felt nice and sporty.

I was reading about Viking art at the time, so the AD of Adidas plus 23 of my Fav Number seemed both sporty and old and mythological and nice like the old stone carvings amidst the grass. The AD ended up seeming a bit too much so I cut it off to leave just thee 23. It’s SP23, nothing to do with Mikey Jords, but I fw him heavy too. Anyway…Then, my fav bit, I did a play on the street folk myth that adidas is in fact an acronym. Das ist nicht correct. I thought that ‘All Day I Dance And Sing’ sounded nice though, so I traced the original text of the top using a light box and created the new slogan text as such on illustrator and got @pianta_man of @toenae.world to heat transfer print the text on.

my baggy shorts pattern extended to 3/4 length, patchworked and sewn out of a few years worth of accumulated, bought, collected, donated, etc sports tops and synthetic scrap fabrics. one pair of a small series 12345
